South Africa!

Hi everyone! My name's John Chau, and I'm currently a student at Oral Roberts University. Last summer, I went on a mission trip with 11 other students from ORU for a soccer mission trip to Cape Town, South Africa.  While there, I was able to see firsthand how soccer truly does open up many opportunities to witness to people, and share Christ's love with them. Soccer is an incredible tool that can be used in amazing ways for the Kingdom of God!

This summer, I will be going back to Cape Town (more specifically, Ocean View, Western Cape, South Africa) to work with Ubuntu Football Academy for the entire summer (67 days for me) before returning to finish up my senior year at ORU. I'm incredibly stoked, and I believe that God has an incredible plan for both me and the people that I will be interacting with while I'm there. When it gets closer to my departure date (June 3), I'll start updating this blog with posts several times per week.
