Giving youth a place to play while introducing them to Hope
We believe in helping restore a sense of normalcy and familiarity in refugee communities by using soccer as a bridge to build Hope in the next generation. Our Hope Fields and Hope Courts (Futsal) are designed to be Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS) that help provide safe places for youth to belong, believe, and become, despite the circumstances they have come from. For many youth that have come from traumatic environments, sports can be a catalyst for healing and hope when paired with a healthy community. We partner with like-minded churches and ministries that have underutilized land in areas where the pay-to-play barrier is a challenge for many refugee and immigrant youth to have accesses to play and belong on an organized team.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We build multi-purpose sports fields (Hope Fields) in collaboration with the church and ministry partners in the community who have a heart to reach youth through sport.

PARTNERSHIPMTAG partners with the church and ministry partners to (1) obtain Synthetic Turf Field or Court Tiles on the church property, (2) install the field, fencing, bleachers, etc., and (3) host an inaugural soccer tournament for the neighborhood.

PLAYMTAG comes alongside the church and ministry partners to develop an ongoing discipleship model for the team(s) utilizing the field. Watch as players not only live out their passion for soccer, but grow in their relationship with Christ!
